Operation Love Your Neighbor (Plan to Reopen Our Building for Worship Services)
Operation Love Your Neighbor
Respecting the need to stay home while rejoicing being together
Dearest Church,
We look forward to seeing many of you, in person, at the church building, June 21 at 10:30! We’ve been working hard to comply with state and county issued guidelines and we’re on track to be back together soon.
We respect and value the many members of our congregation who need to worship from home during this time. We will be live streaming the service from the building during the in-person service, so we’ll all be hearing the message and worshiping together, regardless of whether we’re in the building or worshiping from home. We will continue to accommodate in-home worship for as long as it takes for everyone to make it back in-person. We will not forget you, you will not be left out.
For those of you who will be able to join us in-person, we know you have a lot of questions about how things will work. Please read through the following document, it will likely answer your questions and you’ll be able to come back to the building knowing what to expect and prepared for a special time together.
We are committed to the following plan for the first two weeks of being back in the building. After two weeks we will re-evaluate this plan and make changes to fine-tune it and/or make it better.
Before You Come...
After you park your car…
Entering the building…
Leaving the building
Using the Restroom…
During Service…
After Service..
Not Available…
Chain of Command
We Humbly ask for your cooperation as we move back into the building. We count it a privilege to be able to worship Jesus together. We also recognize the tremendous amount of work that many people have put into making this possible. Please don’t move, re-position or otherwise “help” with Covid-19 procedures or set-up. This is a highly detailed plan and even small, seemingly insignificant, changes can throw the whole thing into chaos. If you have an idea to make something better, we’d love to hear it, but please ask before acting.
Thank You!
