OLYN Transition
Combining Worship in Song & Worship in Word Portions of Our Worship Service
As of June 20, 2021 we will be singing during our 10:30 service! This service will be in the building and available on live stream. We will no longer be having the 9:15 live stream only Worship in Song portion of the service. (As we transition away from Covid protocols, we will ask congregants worshipping in the building to wear a mask while singing).
Covid 19 Updates effective June 15, 2021
California is reopening many of its normal operations for businesses, organizations and the general public by loosening most of the Covid 19 restrictions. As of June 15, 2021 we will no longer be required to maintain social distancing or capacity limits. Mask restrictions will loosen to comply with the current CDC mask recommendations. They will also be eliminating the color coded "tier" system.
Please Note: The sermon on Sunday, June 12, 2021 walked the church through the upcoming changes. It emphasized the need for unity within the body of Christ and for graciousness towards those who may have and continue to experience the pandemic differently than you may have.
The sermon particularly emphasized the idea of "transition." Encouraging us about the many positive changes at church that will be effective this Sunday, June 20, 2021. It also reminded us that any precautions that remain are for the good of the entire body and will likely come off within the next few weeks or months.

What’s changing at Windborn?
What precautions will remain?
In order to promote unity within the body and provide a comfortable setting for those who remain cautious, we will maintain a few precautions as we transition towards a full opening.
What will Windborn Church not do?
Many "normal" activities at the church will begin to resume over the next couple of weeks and months. This includes opening up the "snack/social" area upstairs, resuming Sunday School, Bible Studies and other group activities in the building as well as hosting our beloved potlucks. First service will likely resume in August!
We thank you for your patience while we get all these ministries back up and running. It’s going to take some time to sort all the details out regarding volunteers and supplies. It’s also going to take some time to make sure areas and items that haven’t been in use, are clean and ready for use./sermon-audiohttps://windbornchurch.net/sermon-audio?sapurl=LytiNm5iL2xiL21zLyszeWNrcThjP2VtYmVkJmJyYW5kaW5n
